Below you will find the Readiness Application for Teacher Preparation Programs seeking partnership for CTAPP's Transformation Fellowship. Targeting Texas-based ACPs, the Transformation Fellowship spans three years and includes grant funding for selected applicants who participate in the fellowship. Is my ACP a good fit for the Transformation Fellowship? Consider the following statements and reflect on your program's readiness. ☑️ I desire support from CTAPP to help achieve our transformative goals. ☑️ I am committed to building strong partnerships with schools and districts that serve diverse student populations. ☑️ I am inspired by the goal to disrupt educational inequities in PK-12 schools and communities. ☑️ I feel a sense of urgency and a commitment to better preparing novice educators for students who have been historically underserved. If these statements resonate with you and your EPP leaders, then consider our Transformation Fellowship! You may RSVP for our Information Webinar (https://www.ctapptx.org/contact-8)on February 8. To preview the details of our Transformation Fellowship, check out the one-pager below that summarizes our services and theory of action for quality teacher preparation. You can also access our 2024 Readiness Application below, which will be covered in detail during the upcoming webinar.

CTAPP has had the esteem pleasure of working alongside leading Teacher Preparation Transformation Centers (TPTCs) from across the country in a community of practice (CoP). The TPTC CoP meets regularly to develop tools and resources, grounded in research, to assist teacher preparation programs in providing equitable access to high-quality teacher preparation pathways. To achieve a shared vision of sustainable, quality teacher preparation programming that is scaled to impact Black, Latino, and low-income students from historically marginalized PK-12 school systems, the TPTCs work together to implement the outcomes outlined in Teacher Preparation Outcomes and Indicators (TPP O&Is). The TPP O&Is provide a framework for achieving high-quality teacher preparation under the domains of quality, sustainability, scale, and impact. Additionally, the TPP O&Is emphasize a critical lens of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) to promote anti-racist systems, practices, and tools within teacher preparation programs. Developed to support these goals, the DEI Companion Document guides educator preparation programs through the process of identifying and improving blind spots in their programming related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Explore the document below, check out the linked resources, and consider an equity cross-walk through your program's various structures to ensure promotion of equitable teacher preparation principles. The DEI Companion Document was created by members of the TPTC CoP - the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Small group - to guide TA Centers and teacher preparation programs who are seeking to engage more deeply in DEI and antiracism work related to teacher preparation programming. All linked resources are attributed to the various parties who created them.

As EPPs prepare for the 2021-22 cohort of novice teacher candidates to join them for summer programming, we acknowledge that many programs are still grappling with COVID restrictions; planning virtual and/or hybrid coursework for Summer 2021; and trying to navigate best practices to ensure effectiveness. CTAPP strives to provide support where possible, and we have collected a series of (mostly free!) resources geared towards supporting novice teacher candidates in a virtual setting. The document breaks down resources into a few areas: Opportunities to Practice Foundational Skills Application of Instructional Materials Collaboration with PK-12 Partnership Districts and LEAs Additional Resources As this is a collection of documents from a variety of sources, CTAPP seeks to capture valuable resources and keep them in one easy to access place. Multiple resources were shared from The Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS), TeachingWorks at University of Michigan, US PREP, Seattle Teacher Residency (STR), and Teacher Education by Design (TEDD).
